Stock in the Channel generates 75GB of data per day in relation to stock, trade and retail prices and sales rates. The data is combined with product categories and detailed product attributes to allow you to hone in on what you are interested in.
It is presented both in pivot tables and as the raw data itself in spreadsheets.
Primarily this is available in the UK market only but our model is being internationalised to the USA, Canada and France.
Stock in the Channel has worked closely with IDC in Boston, USA on this project. In the UK we are GFK’s largest supplier of sell out data in the UK and have been for 3 years.
Sales + Price Focus
Competitive intelligence to IT vendors who need to keep abreast of competitive pricing and sales rates in the UK. Great for opportunity spotting, catching trends as they happen, and naturally, for an overall view of what is happening in the market. Reports are produced weekly – published every Monday – covering up to close of business Fridays information.
The reports are provided on a category by category basis. On request we will produce sample files with no obligation. In some categories we cover nearly all sales made – in others – particularly where resellers or end users buy directly from the brands – we have less information. Our team will tell you the percentage of total market sales we cover in your requested category – which will indicate the validity of our data.
Daily stock reports are an intrinsic part of our service portfolio. These are typically used to allow resellers to accurately sell virtual stock from distribution – however as a vendor in the IT market availability is crucial in sales. Our service can help you monitor this.

Confidence intervals – variance analysis - matching similar distributions for predictive models and more are part of our skill set.
